    My 94/95 MAF fits just fine in the stock TB elbow. Took a screwdriver to pry it on, but it was still easy.

    Run it while it's all connected, shut it off and pull #7 spark plug wire. Start it up and compare! If there isn't much difference at all, try it with another plug. Say... #4. Then take all your data, compare and see whether or not it's dead! lol, it'll give you a little more info at least.

    I have Proform 1.7s and they're actually pretty quiet. Like said above, maybe a little more noisy than the stock ones, but nothing serious.

    Yeah, it's possible... I know I had to take a punch and really tap some of them down, but once they were in they seemed solid. I guess we'll see as I put more miles on the engine, lol.

    That sucks man. I used TFS gear for all my valvetrain stuff and I had no issues... the even included 2 extra keepers in my pack. Hopefully it all works out in the end, best of luck!

    I don't think it's that bad... the only real issue I have with it is that the flares are too extreme. They come off of the front bumper cover at a ridiculous angle.

    Timing issue

    Have you checked for vacuum leaks? They often happen after an intake install and they could sound like a whistling noise. Other than that, I have nothing to add =) Good luck!

    AFIK stock heads didn't come with spring shims... Mustang78, what you are describing are the exhaust valve rotators. Pretty simple to replace... you can pull them off and check how well they rotate and any parts store would be able to get them for you. Shims sit below the valve spring against...
