    H-pipe for sale I have one if you are shopping. You can buy those MIL eliminators that will turn your check engine light off, or you can get a tune which will do alot more plus turn off the light. But, I do have a BBK offroad H for sale...It is like brand new.

    I agree with this. My first runs on street radials yielded 1.90's 60' times (auto car)....after Dr's I went to 2.0+.....reason was I didn't know dick about heating them up. Burnout becomes more critical.....talk to experienced people, and spend some time at the track.

    And if you have a blower, it don't matter if it's raining.....from a 30mph roll try a 3-1 WOT downshift with a roots or KB blower.........wahoooo, talk about a rush! :D

    Maybe I am missing something on this, but in the diagram is shows that the top line(#1) is the fluid cooler inlet, and the bottom line (#2) is the fluid cooler outlet.....this would indicate to me that the fluid is in fact moving from the top to the bottom so the bottom line is the return line...

    I went thru this about 2 months ago. I will speak from experience. Some may disagree. You will only be able to get maximum, similiar to stock, drivability by getting either a dyno tune, or deal with a programmer/dealer who has experience changing the parameters in the Advantage software on tunes...

    Look in the capacities section of your owners manual. It will tell you how much to put in. In reality, all you have to do is fill it until it starts coming out of the fill hole. You do not have to change the gear lube before the 100,000 mile mark, but as most of us car lovers are maintenance...

    Lowered my 98 1.5" + Ride pretty much close to stock until compressed very much Cutting off pinion snubber is okay, but consider aftermarket Needed CC Plates contrary to pop opinion Stock springs/struts okay but I will upgrade eventually with LCR's. Would do again for sure.

    I have the SVO Borla side exhaust on my 98. I think they look very nice on the 98 body style. Not really sure if I like it on the 99's though. Maybe it is because Ford offerred it from the factory, but IMO. I have not had ANY issues with heat effecting the skirt in any way. They are rigid...

    saleen blower/oil changes

    If it is an Eaton M90 supercharger, I have been told that it is not neccesary by several differant sources. It is a sealed unit, and internally lubricated for the life of the unit. I know that is hard to swallow, but I think this is what you will find out.

    Strange 3rd gear in '03 auto?

    My opinion is that Ford has the computer shifting the car into OD too early. I think it should be up around 45mph, but for gas mileage they program it in as early as possible. I think this can be rectified with a custom SCT tune.

    Cobra pistons in GT

    My max power out put will never be over 400rwhp with my M90 Eaton blower, and that will be with a 50 shot of spray. :bang: The little huffers just run out of breath up there, and I got 7 pistons with 18,000 miles on them for $140. :) I think I will use them.

    Yes, this is because of engine durability. If the chambers are close to the same size, and the Cobra pistons dish drops compression, that would be awesome because I think I could turn the blower a little faster and gain it back plus some.

    Anyone know if the compression ratio would be differant if you put 03 Cobra forged pistons in a 98 GT with stock NPI heads? I came across a great deal on a set of pistons, and plan on using them with forged rods. They appear to have a significant dish in the top, so the Cobra ratio is in the 8's...

    what psi do you guys run on pump gas?

    9psi...93 octane here...its all about detonation dude......if you can keep the air cooler, or compression lower, you can run more boost. Some guys run methanol /water injection, some guys run forged internals with dish pistons, some just raise octane.

    IMO 11:1 is rich so some power is available by leaning it out somewhat. Custom dyno tune would yield some gain dialing in A/F and timing ,specific to your set-up which includes all of your mods.

    Sorry to hijack: I think you should be able to run 23*timing if your A/F is right (11.8) I am, with no pinging, on 93 octane, 9psi, on a less efficient Eaton.

    fuel injectors

    I know stock 98's are 19# . Something tells me that there was an increase in the 99+ but not sure. Maybe someone knows for sure what their 99+'s are. :shrug:
