    and, people say air/vacuum leak but, if it was, maybe its just my novice self speaking, but wouldn't the noise get louder when i give it gas since its sucking more air in, instead of going away for the most part until the rpms drop.

    eh, i bought it cuz i always wanted one. I like to have fun in my car. Obviously since I was originally pushing in order to hear the noise in the first place. Wasn't trying to get at you. Problem gets fixed, I can have fun again and still treat it well.
