    Jiffy Lube busted

I think a lot of other places are like that too. When I worked for an autobody shop once we had a customer that said he got his oil changed at jiffy lube and was having this bad oil leak. So I checked it out for him and they didn't tighten the oil filter enough so it was leaking out everywhere...

    Aftermarket shifters questions?

I have a steeda tri-ax and being completely honest I would get a pro50 over it any day. My 2 friends with foxbodys, 1 has a pro50 the other has a hurst shifter. We lined all 3 cars up and I did a test. The pro50 just feels so good. It almost feels like the shifts are spring loaded and it just...

My aluminum driveshaft is getting trashed somehow. HELP!!!

Underneath my car today and noticed my aluminum driveshaft has some heavy gouging going on in the center of it. I thought it was pretty weird because it already ate my e-brake cable bracket (the one that goes into the handle and holds the right and left cables) and I have no e-brake anymore. I...

please help... installing autometer water temp gauge (sending unit prob.)

Okay so I guess everything is supposed to be normal then. Actually I tried rethreading the brass and I got 1 or two more threads out of it so I got it to actually sit a hair down more. Not much but I guess I'll throw it in there and see what happens. I hope I didn't damage the sending unit...

please help... installing autometer water temp gauge (sending unit prob.)

Hi guys, I got a problem and been searching but I don't know if there is any diff. in the mechanical gauge fittings over an electrical so I will re-ask. I just got an autometer water temp gauge. The sending unit they supply with the gauge won't fit completely in their adapter. I supplied a...

99-04 taillights on an SN95? Pic in Modified Mustangs

It's a very very small pic! I'm talking like the picture of the car is maybee an inch and a half long and half an inch tall. You can barely tell unless you have a close eye. I did some searching and found nothing. I'll try to scan it though and see if I can blow it up a little bit bigger.

99-04 taillights on an SN95? Pic in Modified Mustangs

Hey guys, In the new issue of Modified Mustangs (the one that says Yellow Fever) if you flip to page 144 in the middle you'll see a picture of 3 saleens. The yellow saleen in the middle if you look really closely you can see he has 99-04 taillights on his car. Pretty interesting, I wish I...

    Cold Air intake.

I bought one of them ebay ones for $50... it looks good when you first put it on but give it a month or two and their fake me out chrome will eventually stain and loose it's finish and look like crap. It's probably just me, but I have a problem with that fenderwell stuff. First their cheap...

Annoying sweaky throwout bearing - adjustable clutch the cure?

I disagree, I have a new Ford tob and it squeaks and it seems to me that a lot of people with the fords have the same problem. When I had my plastic SPEC tob in it did not squeak at all. Even though it was plastic, I'd put that back in over another Ford one.

    no spout connector !!!

When I bought my car there was no spout in it. After my PIP sensor went out it took me a while to realize what was going on. I found a new spout and put it back in and ran 10 degrees timing. Ever since then I had detonation problems with it. I'm going to take the spout back out to keep the...

Are our cars supposed to have air deflectors on the bottom?

Thanks guys, i'm going to order at 50resto, just saw it in the book. But yea, I know I was running hot but couldn't prove it because my water temp gauge isn't functioning properly. Maybee that is why some of you think it didn't make a difference? I wouldn't trust the stock temp gauge too much. I...

Annoying sweaky throwout bearing - adjustable clutch the cure?

Whoever invents a TOB that doesn't squeak for our cars needs to win the Nobel Peace Prize. I should've kept the plastic one that SPEC sent. But after my 2nd install I used all metal Ford one like I had before. And it started squeaking like crazy. I shot white lithium grease up on it a few times...

Are our cars supposed to have air deflectors on the bottom?

I just changed my coolant and mannnnn. It was so black and burned up with a light tint of green. Seriously, it looked pretty bad. I tried cleaning the overflow resevoir out and I seriously had like 4 inches of black gunk in the bottom. I can't imagine what my radiator looks like inside but since...

stock water temp gauge not reading right, and pinging???

Hi guys, for the longest time I thought my stang did a really good job of keeping things cool. Starting through last fall I been having a really bad pinging problem that I cannot chase down at all. Which is weird because when I got my car it ran amazing and it's basically stock. I'm out of good...

where is the eec relay on our cars?

Yea, my injectors aren't getting power. DOH!!! I have the kick panel off, but it must be really up there because i'm having trouble locating it. I'll find it eventually, and hopefully it is just the relay... because i'm not getting power to anything ignition or fuel related, and probably not...

where is the eec relay on our cars?

Thanks so much guys. I can't explain how much this has all helped me out. The wiring diagram provides so much light now in helping me trace down this electrical problem and all the explanations. Thanks again!
