    99 Deep dish cobras

Anyone know where I can find em'? I started a thread about widening the stock wheels on my 04 GT (came with the 99 cobras) because I didn't like how they don't sit flush with the rear fender, but after thinking about it, having them widened won't change anything, its the backspace that matters...

    UPR reverse glow guages

stangsglr those look real good. I just wanna get the blue lights on the interior without looking cheap or cheesy since my exterior paint is sonic blue, so i figure the blue guages would be real clean lookin'. I just can't put that stupid ass dimmer switch on my dash. I'll figure it out thanks...

    UPR reverse glow guages

Hey everyone, i'm thinking about getting the reverse glow guage set from UPRproducts.com. First of all, does anyone have these? Any opinions good or bad? Secondly, it says on their site on the install directions that one wire has to be connected to ground (self explanitory) and the other has to...

    Wider stock wheels.

Well, if you think about it, $240 (480 total) per wheel is alot cheaper then buying 4 new larger chrome wheels.

    Wider stock wheels.

I wish I could buy the same rim only wider, like most mustang places (like mustanttuning.com) but NO ONE has the wheels that I have. They have the cobras, cobra r's, bullits, FR500, etc. but not the same ones I have, which totally blows chunks. If I go with the cobra's it'll be like i'm tryin to...

    Wider stock wheels.

I have the polished aluminum 5 spoke wheels on my 04 GT, the ones that look like cobra rims (not sure of the real name of them). I really like these rims with the exception that they are just not wide enough in the rear. I like the look of keeping the rear wheel flush with the fender, or just...

    Cometic Head gaskets

Hey everyone, in the process of buying parts to freshen up my 302 motor (will remain 302, not getting a .030 over). The engine is gonna be turbo'd so I wanna put good head gaskets on. I'd like to go with cometic, I hear good things about them. I'm on the site now trying to figure which ones i'm...

    Ford racing guage

Hello all, I just bought an aeromotive fuel pressure regulator (summit pn AEI-13103), so now I need to get a guage. The regulator has a 1/8 NPT port to accept a guage, just wondering what hardware I will need to make the hookup to the ford racing guage possible?

    New engine rebuild, want opinions

I have a 91 GT block that I'm gonna rebuild for my 89 lx. I have a turbo on the car that I plan to use on the new motor. I already contacted DSS inc. for a quote on a stroker kit. The kit comes with the following: Nodular Iron crank 4340 forged steel h beams w/arp hardware pro-x 13cc max...

    B cam question

Well the thing is, I just bought the car (with the turbo already on it) and the guy gave me a b cam, along with another motor. The turbo is a cartech turbo that was installed back in 1995 I don't want to dump too much money into this motor, seeing as how I plan on rebuilding the other motor with...

    B cam question

I just aquired a turbocharged 89 5.0 notch. The engine is stock with the exception of the valvetrain and cam. Right now there is an e303 cam with 1.7 full rollerized rockers. My question is will I be able to fit a b303 cam with the 1.7 rockers?

    fuel pressure guage

No, not like that one, although that is nice. I like the one that sticks straight up in front of the driver. I wish I could find a picture of one

    fuel pressure guage

I would like to get one of the cowl mounted fuel pressure guages for my 89 notch. Do they have kits (mounting hardware, fittings, etc.) out there for them? Anything special I need to hook it up?

How to check for misfires on 99 up

You can pin point which cyl is misfiring on any car by disconnecting the fuel injectors one at a time. When you disconnect it, you should hear the engine stumble just a bit, if the cyl is working properly and not missing. If you pull an injector and nothing happens, you found your problem cyl...

    Explorer motor

I'm actually wondering if you could fit an 05 3v 5.4L in there....I work for a ford dealership and those 5.4 3v motors are pretty damn punchy in the expiditions and f-150s, and you think, the mustangs are probably half that weight? That would be a badass car... I'm gonna look into this, I...

am i LEAN with this setup.....................!!!!????

Agreed. Once again, the job of the MAF is to deliver the proper amount of fuel for the amount of air coming into the engine. If you get an aftermarket mass air flow meter, you shouldn't have a problem. The computer "reads" the amount of air coming into the engine via the MAF meter, and delivers...

am i LEAN with this setup.....................!!!!????

Does anyone here know what the job of the maf is? Get an aftermarket MAF sensor. Its when you get into doing major changes like adding nitrous or a bigger cam that you really have to worry about your a/f ratio, unless your hardcore into getting your car running like a dream. Then you can worry...

    Mac Exhaust -Opinions

Borla!! MAC does sound pretty good, my friend has the mac cat back with the mac o/r h-pipe and it does sound pretty wicked; sounds like it has a mild cam in it. In my opinion, if you want something that will sound good, but not give you too much attention get the borla. EDIT: do your...

serpintine belt shredding problem, please read

You guys are missing the fact that he has a procharger running 8 lbs of boost, it could very well be causing his belt shredding problem. I say, make sure all the pulleys are lined up, and get a high quality belt, I would also reccoment upping the width of the belt. I think there is a kit on the...

    Lowering The stang??

I'd hate to see your car. And things like balljoints and u-joints....doesn't matter how many times you upgrade them. Driveshafts NEED an angle to lubriate the bearings. If your going to do a 2 inch drop plan on spending some money to do it right THE FIRST TIME, unlike this yahoo above....
