    88 speed dens. what will we need to do to put 460 1.7 rockers on.

    I work with a guy who is thinking about getting some 1.7 rockers on his 88 speed density mustang, can it be done and will he have to change his valve springs. The reason he is wanting to do this is because it will be cheaper than doing a cam swap. Also how much lift will this give him.

It has a 3.73 gear but no axles, well he tried to put his axles in it but he cannot get the axles to slide back out far enough to put the cross pin back in, so what he did is grind 1/8" off the end of each axle.
