Maf Transfer off slightly; compensate with fuel stabilized table?

The higher the value in the maf curve the richer it will be right? I did find yesterday that I went too far and once it hit around 10 the engine decided to stop making power. :rlaugh:

Maf Transfer off slightly; compensate with fuel stabilized table?

Yes I am. I had entered 12.5 or so for my wot at high load for a/f and when it came time to driving it was coming out to being around 13.5 or so. I then went back into the table and entered around 11.5 and then finally my wideband showed around 12.1 - 12.5 at wot. Is this ok?

Maf Transfer off slightly; compensate with fuel stabilized table?

I was just curious as to whether adjusting the fuel stabilized table to compensate for some maf transfer error is ok. My maf seems to be dead on from idle to around 3 volts. From 3 volts and up, it seems to run slightly lean. Can I make up for this by increasing my a/f in the fuel table...

    questions about base spark table

I am almost 100% positive that its the conversion on my wideband. It is off like I mentioned almost all the time when driving. I am trying to find my plx file to edit but am unable to. Is it located in C:\Program Files\STKR 1.30A\Data ?

    questions about base spark table

I understand that it is off. But my problem is that I cant let EA dictate to me what to change when the datalog itself is reporting a lean condition when the actual wideband is saying its right on.

    questions about base spark table

ok, I know exactly what your referring to. Thanks for the heads up. I will check out your site too. btw, I am finding that my PLX is not reading the same as the AFR on calcon. I understand this has to do with the transfer rate. So how do you go about editing this? I have EA and see that...

    questions about base spark table

Thanks for your advice. I have killed those tables with 55's. I will have to do some experimenting. I have since back off the timing from the original values. I was talking to my dad and he expained how the workings of timing actually does. It was then I realized that 47 was probably too...

    questions about base spark table

Originally, I had the altitude spark the same as the base, the bdln all 55's, and the MBT to somewhat mimic the alt + base. Last night I changed all of these tables to 55. I have yet to try anything. I am sure I have way too much spark though.

    questions about base spark table

I am somewhat confused on how far I should take my spark tables. I have my base spark table set rather high at the higher end rpm's. I have around 40 at 5000. I can post an image of my table in a while. Should I have my timign set this high? I am not getting any pinging yet. I am running...

    357 or 408

That does make sense. All I know is that the 347 I purchase from CHP was nothing but problems. So far my 351 is much more reliable and seems to make just as much power (for exception of cam). I would like to upgrade on the cam though. Maybe I just had a bad engine to start with?

    357 or 408

Is this because of the rod ratio or because its lighter?

Air bag code 32 - 33 Need info please

Would a bad clock spring send off a code for the passenger side also? My air bag light didnt even blink until i hit a bump in the road. It was at this point that my check engine light came on and then went off and my air bag light started blinking.

    357 or 408

My 351 runs just as strong as my 347 did for the exception of the cam. I have a slightly smaller cam in the 351.

Air bag code 32 - 33 Need info please

I dont mean to repost this but ever since my original post was hijacked I never got any info regarding my situation. It blinks 32 on the first code then blinks 33 4 or 5 times. Any ideas?

    357 or 408

I had a 347 and had nothing but issues with reliability. I ended up going to a 351w roller and havent had any problems since. I would recommend stepping up to a 351w roller and then stroking if needed.
