    Autolite carb frustrations

    Not an option, unless you want to send me a free demon carb. I just want recommendations on what the problem is or might be, not what carb I should be running. Everybody will have their opinion about what carb to run but none of that really helps me at the moment.

    Anybody know of a set of videos I can buy that will help me with my car. Learning the ins-outs. I'd especially like to learn more about "tuning" my car. An instructional vid would be nice to help walk me through changing the intake and carb, setting timing etc.

    Emergency flashers

    That's just it, the flasher switch itself doesn't seem to cause the short. If I loosen the bolts that hold down the housing containing the switch and just wiggle THAT, not the actual switch, it blows a fuse.

    Is it possible to have a short in my Grant steering wheel even though both wires are disconnected ? Second question, who makes a steering wheel WITH a horn that doesn't have a pop off cap ?

    I like the Grant wheel but the horn is killing me anyway just because it pops off all the time. I like the wheel size and grip size so I'd like to find a replace to match it. If it weren't horn I wouldn't replace it but I have read several threads about those horns being a pain in the ass.

    I will have it load tested tonight. I did have a problem with my horn. I have the grant steering wheel and the horn would stick. I don't know how to fix the horn on that steering wheel so that it doesn't make contact so easy. I even got shocked touching the steering wheel spoke one time...

    Car is eating starter solenoids.......

    Battery / solenoid problems Ok... I am not sure if I burnt up a solenoid or if my battery is the problem. I get in, turn the key and I get a click click click (like the guy off King of the Hill :rlaugh:). I think the battery is low so I hook up the charger/jumper and it fires right up...

    gas cap question

    I checked and it does have that little hole, so I assume it's vented. Maybe it's just me but it does seem a little more sluggish on take off. It could be the weather though, it's alot cooler than when I normally drive it.
