    one piece headlights

Yea ... not a big fan of the "riced" projector style, but love the idea of a one-piece assembly! I don't even mind the halo copy from BMW ... but they seriously look like the Altezza style tail lights :bang: I know a few people already mentioned it, but the Cobra style of a one-piece headlamp...

OT: Ordered me a new toy today...

That's awesome! Congrats on the big order. I have been messing with the idea of that myself - but just can't seem to commit to it! That's great though - definitely post some pics when it comes in. Any idea of an arrival date?

    Explorer Intake done - hmmmmm

Good ... glad to hear my car is "normal". HA! Today it ran well again - so it must just take time. I think I am gonna buy a larger MAF next ... what brands??

    Explorer Intake done - hmmmmm

OK ... so after a day of driving around with it, I have to say ... it seems to run better and better after each 10 miles or so. Now it pulls REALLY nice from about 2300-5500! REALLY strong. It seems to be a nice linear powerband now. While I was at the head, I also cleaned out the intake...

    Coolest Golf Cart EVER!

I wasn't talking about the company, and in fact I have used NOS's systems in the past. To me I used it synonymously with nitrous as a gas (N2O) :nonono: . It's not a ricer thing, just a HP thing . I've just never used the NX systems - so I felt I couldn't comment on them. I will be more...

    Explorer Intake done - hmmmmm

Something's missing ... like it's not using the full potential of the engine, like it's choked up or something - not like the engine is "missing". Yea, kinda like when an engine is too retard in timing. I'll check it tomorrow. I am just looking for all possible things to troubleshoot. I...

    Coolest Golf Cart EVER!

I built one up myself too. I dont even know how much lift I welded into it, but it runs 24" ATV tires with the gas motor. I did all the work on it myself and custom fabricated the lift and the front bumper is my work - yes, the lights work. Guess I need some NOS. I even ported the head...

    Explorer Intake done - hmmmmm

Finally got my Explorer intake installed and running. It runs strong. I am fairly pleased with the swap, but ... it seems to be missing something. I have the standard BBK CAI, Pulleys, Off road H-pipe, Flowmaster Force II's, Recent tune-up, 65mm FMS TB, FMS 3.55's, STOCK MAF, STOCK...

Quick question about removing the throttle body..

It should definitely be on there! My stock TB gasket was stuck on the upper intake and looked like it was almost part of the aluminum. Look closely. If it's NOT there ... go out and get one. It may solve some of those "my car just doesn't seem to be running right" kinda problems. Oh ... I...

Quick question about removing the throttle body..

Mine was still good, even at 100K miles. I agree - the auto parts stores consistently did not give me the right gasket when I did change the TB. I ended up just going to Ford and getting the right one.

    Explorer intake - Injector + Distrib. ?'s

Yea ... I did exactly what RIO said, except I used the studs for placement, then removed them and put the stock bolts back in. I put a little of the Ultra Black RTV on the head side of the gasket and let it set for about 10 mins. I had NO problems of the gasket moving either. Use the stud...

    Explorer intake - Injector + Distrib. ?'s

Nope ... I am using the stock injectors from the mustang. I just got the lower mounted and am gonna start re-installing all the other stuff. Hooray! I was happy to see that the Fel-Pro gaskets are the same diameter as the heads are. I was worried that gasket matching the intake to the...

    Painted Lower Intake

JR ... wow ... a master of the paint and bling bling! hahaha Seriously, that's something to be proud of. Looks awesome and must perform just as well. Congrats on making something SO nice. I'd like to see one of those daylight pics. Do you actually drive the car? Seriously? I would be so...

    Explorer intake - Injector + Distrib. ?'s

Here's another one ... actually - two. The runners are smooth, even though the second pic doesn't make them look that way. I also smoothed the hell outta the flashing and mold marks on the outside.

    Explorer intake - Injector + Distrib. ?'s

No problem on the hijack ... I dont care, I learn more when the threads stray a little anyhow. As long as it does some good to someone! I got those parts from NAPA .. it's all good. Fits nice and should have the whole thing done tomorrow. Man ... mine had a bunch o' carbon in the lower's...

    Explorer intake - Injector + Distrib. ?'s

RIO ... thanks man! You have just saved me over $150!! I went to Ford right after posting and nearly s#*t myself! $96 a piece for the injector, then Autozone wanted like $58 a piece, but ... no stores had em! I will be off to NAPA now! Thank you SO much! Thanks too for the advice from the...

    Explorer intake - Injector + Distrib. ?'s

Explorer intake - Injector + Distrib. ?'s- (+pics!) OK ... finally getting around to installing my Explorer intake. I was SOO careful pulling the injectors out, but somehow the caps of two of them broke, along with one O-ring. Can I get just the new caps, or do I need to buy the whole new...

    1" wheel spacers enough?

Hey ... sorry about taking so long! I have been too busy with work!! Here is the pic of my car from front to back using the 1.25" spacers on the 95 Cobra R rims ... 17x9. Hope this helps! I love em! :nice: Yea, only on the rears and they were a little over $110. It makes a NOTICABLE...

    1" wheel spacers enough?

Yea ... 1"ers will look SOOO much better! I went with the 1.25" spacers and mine are right to the edge of the inside of the fenders with 255/40/17s on it. No matter what kinda angle I get, they never hit. You will be happy with the 1" spacers. Make sure you use Anti-seize on the back sides...
