    built bottom end 306 blower decent h/c/i (trickflow high ports, cobra intake, stock cam is alright for a blower) and a tremec tko... you can probably find all that for under 8k if you shop around.

    1) i recommend a custom cam FTI cams are great and wont break your budget... i've also heard of people flashing the 94/95 computers with the A9L program (not as expensive as a tune... no this isn't swaping computers but actually flashing it with the fox computer that isn't so pickey about cams)...

    if he's already got the majority of the 427 built. then in my opinion he's got the most expensive part done. you can do a DIY turbo kit for super cheap... or have someone do it. then he's got the rest of the money to put into the car making it look nice/wheels/suspension mods and a tranny...

    low compression 427 (since you got most of it done) you can get a good 94-95 for under 5k then slap a turbo on it and call it a day. with all other supporting mods of course. but a 427 in a notch wouldn't be bad either. the coupes have always had a spot in my heart.
