    proform fan question

    tried that have the controler the dial on the fan at 180 but the fan wont turn on the temp gauge says 200 degrees with the auto meter gauge i have. the guy at auto zone said to run a relay switch on the power wire on the toggle switch. will this help.

    well its a 195 thermostat. i got the autometer temp gauge it reads 200 degrees. its about 40 degress outside but the fan wont turn on. could they have sent me a bad inline fuse. could i use a man switch to turn it on.

    i got the proform electric fan i hook a ground to the neg battery and pos to the battery and i cant get the fan to turn on then i tried the pos to starter senoid and still nothing. if i hook up a switch where i can just turn it on and off will that work

    powermaster alt problem solve

    yeah i will hook it up as soon as it stops raining. im going to the zone and get a 6 gauge wire and a fuse and a sodering tool its going to be a pain trying to soder a big wire but at least it will be tight. thanks for all ur help

    im going to put the fuse in just in case, but the tech at summit said not to use the alt harness to just leave off. but if i do that i dont need to hook up a ground wire

    well finally talk to summit racing where i bought the powermaster alt, and they told me all i need is a 6 gauge or higher power wire and thats it, so i dont need a fuse inbetween and i dont need the harness either. so all i need is a nice day
