    Think about how you spend most of your time driving. Be realistic. If you're in rush hour traffic a lot, shifting gets really old really fast. Consider changing your program parameters as suggested above. It will be a lot easier and cheaper.

    The shifter is not as big an issue now because the TKO has internal stops. If the supplied shifter feels good use it, or use any aftermarket name brand. It's up to you.

    Thank SVTTECH I agree with you.The problem with a junkyard harness is that it is hard to find a fresh unmolested car. I worry about the condtion of the connectors. Can I search junkyards by internet yet? I haven't been for about 10 years.

    My TR3650 has bad syncros for 3rd gear. I need to replace tranny or rebuild it. A rebuild kit costs about $1,000. But no guarantee that it will hold up.
