    Nicks fast back conversion

I guess I'm not being clear, I don't have the rear seat frame that the foam and seat cover goes on for a '65-'66 fastback. ('67-'68 lower seat frame shown) Dynacorn doesn't list it and Stang-aholics doesn't show it on their website.

    Nicks fast back conversion

Well, I found '67-'68 fastback rear seat frames, but not '65-'66. I also found R3 Performance Products, which bought out Thoroughbred International (or Thoroughbred GT) that made 'skeletons' for '65-'66 fastbacks. R3PP was in California, but is now in Broken Arrow, OK which is close to me...

    Nicks fast back conversion

So doing some research on converting my coupe to a fastback, what pieces besides the rear seat frames are the hard to find that aren't reproduced?

    1967 s-code fan problem

Is the radiator leaking or did the fan just bend some fins over? Grab the fan and see if there's any play in the fan clutch, or possibly the water pump shaft. (Could be the water pump is bad, leaking and shaft play caused the fan to hit the radiator.)

I'm back after a long hiatus.... Not sure if there is anyone still around that even remembers me....

Oldest is married, middle kid is graduated college and a school teacher, the youngest is graduated high school and going to vo-tech for video editing. Rear End Identification

The goto way I've used is, if you can't put a deep socket on the bottom 2 bolts of the 3rd member, it's a 9", if you can, it's an 8". The 8" has longer flats on the top and bottom of the oval, whereas the 9" is more just oval. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/fel-rds13270/overview/...

    1965 Mustang Seat Track Extending

I haven't done it, but have seen it done, but I don't think it was 3 inches. Get some 1/4"x1" flat bar and pull your seats out. The seat has threaded inserts for the bolts. You'll need to cut the bars roughly 3" longer than the distance between the front and back holes. For ease of...

    1965 Fastback Mustang Project

I meant more along the lines of bending and shaping. I'm wanting to get into some of the metal shaping stuff and didn't know if you used shrinker/stretchers, tipping dies in a bead roler, power hammer, etc.

So this place is still here?!?

Shoot, everything's been sitting. The cowl on the Mustang is sealed with foil tape used for HVAC work to keep leaves and dirt outta there while it sits outside under a tree. I did get some new roll-a-round tires for it :D pimpin on a set of 15's instead of the old 14's. I've got a '57...
