    Guys, I currently have the motor apart and just re-installed the stock cam. (Due to many issues with the AODE/idle/driveability) Now, the cam is installed straight up. Would it be worth anything to retard the cam 4 degrees? Would it make that big of a difference?

    CBZGT50, I made sure not to over-tighten. I first tightened the bolts with my fingers, then snugged them till the bolts got tight with the ratchet.

    Another note, The leak gets the worst when I shut the engine off. It barely leaks, if any, when the car is running.

    I am simply gonna drop the pan and install the new pan so just the pan. Also, does the pan have to be tightened down in any certain bolt pattern.

    Checked everything for leaks. In Park, Vac = 11 lbs. In Drive, Vac = 8 lbs. I think I need a vac canister.

    If you get the E303, Definately get at least a 3000-rpm stall. I won't recommend the E303. Get a cam with a 112-114 LSA. The e303 isn't worth the hassle in a auto SN95.

    Guys, I have a E303 cam in my AODE car. The car had no brake problems before I installed the new motor. Now, when just backing the car up while idling, the brake goes almost completely to the floor before I feel the brakes catching. I tested it and the vac = 8-10lbs at a 900rpm idle...

    knocking from valve covers

    I recently had a similar problem. Had a bad knocking from the passenger valve cover, car idled horrilbe, and lost all power. Ended up being a broken valve spring on the #1 cylinder. Thank God I didn't drop that valve. Check the valve springs on that side.

    Remember, you can get a chip tuned to adjust your shift points and such. My set-up: 3000-Stall & recalibrated points..... = Big difference.
