    Funny this came up. After pondering my cowl rust on my 86 notch I decided it was too much cancer and found a 93 notch for 100 bones. I hate the aeros so I'm switching the 4 eye stuff to the 93. For those screaming foul here is my rust link: Rustandstuff

    Yeah I looked at my 86 and that brace is still there. Seems like a big hole to cut just to take that off.

    Ok the PO says there was some type of bracket there so it was cut out. Lots of drugs and stuff going on in Hawaii, I'm in Florida now though,,, its 100x worse here.

    Anyone run a crazy engine setback?

    I like the Chinese and UPR way of doing things, why reinvent the wheel when you can just reverse engineer it. I'm fully aware its a custom job.

    I'm looking for some information on running more that a 2" setback (5.0 w/T5). Anyone have any info/specs/pics? I'm talking having to cut out the firewall type setback. Like this Fox running who knows what under the hood:

    I have a Edelbrock gear drive sitting here, I might just throw that on and wait till it blows up to replace the entire engine.

    4 banger T5 + 3.55's for autocross? I have a chance to pick up some Ford 3.55's on the cheap. I have a 4 banger T5 going behind my 5.0 and this will be a track car for the local autocross events. I would like to run this at some HPDE events down the road. Car will be more for fun than trying...

    Haaaaaaaaaaa, thats good!! :hail2: The windows are currently in, but I'm going Mad Max style. Thats why I'm asking before I tear the car down any further. Kailua on Oahu, I did live in Hilo on the Big Isl though. Too much rain over there!

    I'm not worried about a class, I'm just looking to find out if I can have fun at the drags every once in awhile with the car. So far no one on any forum has a solid answer. Man I wish I was back in the islands!
