98 Cobra or keep 99 Gt

Well I found out some more about the 98 Cobra, it has installed: Jet hot coated long tube headers and H-pipe, Flowmaster exhaust system, 4.10 gears, upgraded throttle body, and a K&N air filter. Does that help any with the decision??

98 Cobra or keep 99 Gt

I just wanted to get your opinions. There's an 98 Atlantic Blue Cobra at a local dealership for sale and I was wondering if I should keep my car or pursue possibly getting the Cobra. The car has 48k miles and my current car has 40k. I've always heard of people comparing 99+ Cobras and GT's, but...

    Pro/Cons of a 94-95' V6?

I have to agree totally with you! I owned a 94 Auto V6 before I bought my GT, and it was so incredibly slow. Don't get me wrong, I loved the car! I still owned a Mustang, and most people loved the car. My two biggest complaints were first, the engine: -94's and 95's have 145 FLYWHEEL...

99 Cobra- Red or Black?! Help me choose

I would go w/ red. Sure your get noticed more, but I believe having any Mustang you become a cop magnet. I've only been pulled in my red mustang once, and of course, it was at night on a dark road :owned:

V8's are better than V6's (Right?)

I prefer the V8, because I had a 94 V6 and it was a dog. Don't get me wrong it was a great car, but just didn't have the power I was looking for. I love the torque, sound, and the respect that comes with owning a V8 Mustang :D

Brake calipers won't fit the rotor? HELP!

You need a C-clamp and a small piece of wood/metal/etc. that has enough area to cover both pistons. With the piece of whatever covering both pistons use the c-clamp to compress the pistons, then putting on your caliper will be a piece of cake!

Don't Let Idiots Driver Your Mustang

The smell of burning clutch is the most sickening smell ever. :bang:

    Donuts = bad!

Mine did that one day after I did a burnout, but it sounded like it was coming from the rear axle. I took off the rear wheel, couldn't find a problem, and the next time I drove it was fixed  I did have the same problem you are having though!

    Shaky Steering Wheel

I checked for the clips, but they have already been taken off my car. I tryed pulling the rotor as hard as possible and it wouldn't budge! Does Ford use PBR brakes??? My brake caliper has PBR on the top, but they look like stock. I'm full of questions.

    Shaky Steering Wheel

Ok, one more question. How do I remove the rotors on a 1999 GT. I removed the Brake Caliper and Bracket, but the rotor wouldn't come off. Other brakes I have changed the rotor just would slide right off. Do I have to take the Grease thing off?? I'm so confused!

    Shaky Steering Wheel

    Shaky Steering Wheel

Well, this is a problem that has been driving me crazy and seems to be getting worse. When I bought my car it has the standard 16 inch wheels that came on a 1999 GT. So I transferred my 17x9 wheels from my old stang. Ever since I did this I have had a slight vibration in the steering wheel...

    Installing Lowering Springs

I just purchased some FRPP C springs from Mustang Tuning and was just wondering the easiest way to install them. I know that there are directions at Mustang World, and was just wondering if this would be the easiest way to do it. I would also like some helpful hints. Thanks for any help you...
