    I'm probably going to order some AFRs from FTI soon. I'll also buy their cam package. My questions are... Do they sell assembled AFR's? Are the assembled ones good enough to run the FTI cam, valve spring wise I mean? Or will I need to buy new springs? If I go with a stud mounted...

    I didn't see a fuel injected one on there or maybe I over looked it.. the only 408 on there is 5500.. too much for me... awesome motor though..

    Here's what I'm thinking Fox Lake 306 Shortblock to replace my 107000 mile motor (that has NO problems just want to replace it for good measure) H/C/I... If anyone has any suggestions feel free to chime in.

    Finally got rid of drivetrain vibration

    My FMS Aluminum Driveshaft removed a TON of vibration from my drivetrain. It felt like a different car. I've had my dog bone off for years.

    creaking noise in front end?

    My creaking noise ended up being my driver side Outer Tie Rod End. It would creak when you turned the wheel and when you went over a bump.. I replaced it with one that had a grease fitting. Works better. :D

    If you do decide to go with 24's you may want to look into getting a Pro-M 77mm instead of recalibrating.. there are some horror stories on here about the 75mm and 24 lbers. They just don't get along sometimes.

    Just kidding fellas.. I like SOME imports (the key word being some).. But it is funny how they refer to a Cold Air Induction system as an INTAKE. And we refer INTAKE to the MANIFOLD.. And some of them do think it's a 50 hp mod.. :notnice:

    If you shop around here and on the corral classifieds you may be able to find a good T-5 for cheap.. Even with the friendly dealership discount the T-5 from Ford is HIGH bling.

    Here's my plain Jane last summer.. When this nasty weather clears up I'll try to spiff her up and get some pics with the SLP exhaust. I also hope to land some Bullitt wheels pretty cheap here soon if a certain friend o mine would hurry up and buy his aftermarkets.. hehehe. :D

    Aftermarket Head question.

    Oh I'm doing the cam at the same time.. heheh Here's the score.. I'm having a set of GT-40P's machined for screw in studs because I don't want pedistal mount rockers.. Will I need to get new valve guides and have them done as well? If so.. where can I get a good set?

    What do I need (if anything) to make a set of stud mount rocker style heads work on my car? I know I'll need stud mount rockers (if anyone knows of a good set with part numbers in 1.7 ratio chime in). Is there anything else? Thanks.

    HAHAHAHA 2400.. Amazing isn't it.. you should see the prices on some of the GM stuff we sell at work. 2400 seems pretty cheap when you look at GM.. Either way I noticed that your considering an aftermarket pipe.. Good Decision.. :D

    Try to rescedule for the day before or after the date on the ticket IF possible.. some states won't let you do that. They'll try to rescedule you for a day the officer WILL be there... always try for the day before or after. Say "In lue of my fine and conviction I request taking driver...
