I screwed up and bought a "cheap" tach but I am not sure if it's my fault...

Have you tried a tach adapter? That is the only way mine worked on my '03. When splicing direct like you did, it wouldn't work right. I had to buy an adapter from Dallas Mustang.

For the hell of it, got a new shift lever

I just put on a Roush shift knob. I am off and on with the metal knob. I am still looking for just the Hurst handle, but everybody wants to sell me the shifter too. I tried a Tri-ax once, and I just didn't like it. I like soft damped shifts, not that metal on metal feel. It works for me. I have...

    Which springs are better?

You want hard ride? Get some Steeda springs. I have either the comp or sport ones. Haven't found the part number yet, but found the Steeda logo on 'em. My Eibach Sportlines had a softer ride. I like the "B" springs. The 'C' springs are almost too harsh for me. These pigs we drive aren't made...

For the hell of it, got a new shift lever

I am bored and decided to be a post whore. I dare to be different. I don't care much for short throw shifters, and the stock lever is bent the wrong way. I don't have long arms like most of you apes, so I find it hard to shift into 3rd, 5th, and R. I like the Roush Classic shifter, but don't...

    Lock Bumping

Muahahaha. I learned to pick locks the old school way with a screwdriver in the military. We should have tried key bumping. I'll keep that in mind when I am locked out at work. Thanks for the info News 5.:nice:

You guys seen this ricer POS?

I finally read all his idiotic eBay description. If I was his neighbor I'd back into that ugly azz car too. Just looking at this guys feedback lets me know he is scumbag. What is in the passenger side footwell? In Image 1 pics. I thought it was a used rubber at first.

    Let's see those aftermarket gauges

Screw S&H Auto Trend. Their gauges suck. I am trying to put on the ones I posted a pic of. The holes aren't cut out, nothing fits, the two piece thing is not happening, and the quality is below standard. The quality sucks actually. You can't send this stuff back either. :fuss: :uzi:

post pics of stangs in the snow

It's the wax. In Washington you can wash your car once a year and get away with it. One wash in July and you're set until October. Then it rains, snows, rains, and finally in July the sun comes out again.I forgot what it looked like. Isn't it bright and provide light? I don't remember.

    Let's see those aftermarket gauges

S&H retro style gauges, green letter/black back/ stock green lighting. I'll install them and get more pics in a few hours. My aux gauges are from Classic Instruments, the G/Stock series. I like the 60's muscle car looking gauges. Namely the GM's with their round dials and green lettering. I am...

post pics of stangs in the snow

2002 Torch Red. Black ,mineral gray, and shadow gray were the top selling colors. I think the red colors were in the middle. I see an occasional Performance Red or Torch Red S197 around. I don't see to many Torch Red '02-04's.

    About damn time!

Well, I'd feel safer about running nitrous with that intake. The plastic ones have a bad habit of exploding, then all that sharpnel gets sucked into the engine......don't ask.

post pics of stangs in the snow

:( This is a sad thread. Look at these cars in the snow. I have to drive mine cross country, and I know I am hitting snow from Idaho to Virginia. It's been a hard winter boys. This is only in light snow. When it gets heavy the Stang goes in the garage. Which is where it stays anyway. Hahaha, I...

    Whats the best CAI?

Cold air is for looks, and sometimes it felt a little better in throttle response; do the throttle pedal mod with a nylon spacer, and you get all the throttle response you want. I stand by the pedal mod 100% Screw the none believers. They can go pound sand up their . I had one of those...

    Let's see those aftermarket gauges

http://www.sh-autotrends.com/ Go S&H Auto Trends. They have the Bullitt knock off gauge faces. They also can make whatever face you want. It is $60 for whatever. Any backlight color, any lettering color. The Bullitt style ones aren't exact, but they have a classic muscle car look. Let them...

Yo, I got your Carfax's right here!

Pm's sent. I am not running the VIN's as fast as I used to, as I am trying to get a cross country move together. It is taking me a day or so to get around to running VIN's. I will keep running them until Feb 21. Then I am outta Carfax, and will be leaving for a 3000 mile journey in the Mustang.

Car was shot while I was in it! Pictures inside

Don't call the cops. Haven't you learned vigilante justice is the only way to go? Fight crime with crime I always say. I'd get my balaclava, Molotov cocktails, and my favorite smashing bat. A squad armed with light machine guns also works when people shoot at you too. At least he didn't hit...

Altitude effects on NA vs. FI

I shouldn't have come off that hard. You have a lot to live up to in a service academy. I see what you are asking. No, the power loss is not quite like that. At 1 ATA the n/a puts out 1 ATA, and the turbo would put out say 3 ATA. At 0.5 ATA the n/a sees around 0.5-0.6 ATA, whereas the turbo...

I need help with my Insurance Company

This is realistic and negative. I quit working for an insurance company, but here is what I learned. Normally when you have insurance they ask you about aftermarket parts. Even though your Roush came that way, a lot of insurance companies still consider it a custom job. So if you don't claim the...
