    both me and donny (super sloth guy) havent had any problem launching at 4k+ with them, both on stock axles, both with recently rebuilt diff's, he has a ram clutch i think, i have a king cobra, nice run donny :nice:

    ok well i know i have a leak to find, but tested the alternator, it's fried, so ordered one from work, i love ordering stuff from work, guy delivered the alternator 15 minutes later, so its on the car and i'm happy :) for now at least

    ok i have a 88 Gt speed density, installed the explorer upper/lower today, now besides the lack of power (i suspect timing) there's a problem with charging, usually cruising on the freeway/around town it'd be about 13 (volts?) now it's right around 10 at all times, at idle around 8.... why would...

    coolant loss...

    i noticed a slow leak, i'd have to top up coolant once a week or so, then while on the freeway my water pump went out, coolant went everywhere, towed it home, replaced the water pump/gasket/thermastat/radiator cap, no problems so far

    well thanks everybody, finally got it done, just in time for work tomorrow morning (or perhaps a party tonight) it wasnt too bad, i knew it was the seal, but i figured since everything was out, i replaced the water pump, thermastat etc etc, i'm gonna flush the coolant at work tomorrow morning...

    ok old pumps off, installed new thermastat and all that jive, now one last question, do i put rtv on both sides of the gasket :confused: or just on the side that goes to the pump, not on the block side? hmm thanks guys :flag:

    well i just pressure tested it, u know there's like holes in the water pump, well its pouring from the bottom of the water pump, like bad... looks like i gotta replace the water pump?

    last time i checked, like i said, this just happened all of a sudden, i work at an oil change place so all my fluids are always kept topped up, i think i'm gonna borrow the ol moms car and get a pressure tester from work i'd say around 30k on the water pump
