    Lower Intake gasket install question

Thanks for the post, I actually just finished the install! lol I used black RTV, hopefully it doesn't matter blue vs black; it shouldn't they're both resistant to antifreeze. I've also read using RTV around the coolant ports is an "insurance" measure. my blog about my install for anyone...

    Lower Intake gasket install question

I'm installing a lower intake today for the first time. I'm a little lost as to what I'm supposed to be using for gasket sealer on the bottom side of the gasket where the gasket mates to the heads. Felpro's instructions are vague "use quick drying adhesive" I've also seen it mentioned...

Putting a Stop to Oil Consumption through the PCV Valve

ok, so with a blown car you can't run pcv then? How are you supposed to properly releive crank pressure then? I don't see how breathers on the valve covers aren't good enough for a n/a car; but they're supposed to good enough for a blown application...

Putting a Stop to Oil Consumption through the PCV Valve

First I say I'm rebuilding my 302 that had bad blow-by. I partially blame this affair on a blocked pcv system. My history is this engine at 85k only had very minor oil burning, I wouldn't notice much of a drop in oil level after driving for 2-3 months (normal miles) probably 1/8 of a qt. Over...

Help with intake/cold air for kennebell set up

I need to find an intake tube like the one in this photo: I'm re-doing my engine bay this year and i'm about to fill up unused holes, I'd preferr to mount the air filter in the first small circular hole, rather than the typical bbk mount on the oval hole. does anyone know where I could find...

    Emissions vacuum question

I'm installing a/c in my car and got pissed at the emissions crap behind the strut tower, so I decided to re-locate to the inner fender and also hook it up properly (I was missing a few things which I picked up in salvage) So my question is, there's a 4 way vacuum tree plug with only 3...

2.3 to 5.0 booster swap question- and MC question

A few years back I swap my 2.3 drivetrain to a 5.0, (93) I did not change the brake system or rear end at that time, I've been planning a 5 lug rear disc and 8.8 swap for the future (next year) Ok, so I recently had my master cylinder changed to another 4 cylinder stock unit because it was...

PLEASE help me confirm this tapped wire is right! when I put this used 5.0 harness in my car during the swap, I found that the orange wire comming from the other end of the TPS plug went no where. It was a bare wire. I then realized there was another orange wire from the EGR to the main...
