    Mach 460 INSTALL?

You can buy complete kits from places like Stangparts (at your own risk) that include the wiring harness and everything. I have the 460 and it's the best stereo I've ever had. Of course, I'm not really in to radios but as stock sound systems go I really like it. However, as others have said...

    inverness, fl

I fled Inverness during the Bush era in '92 and never went back. I hear it has changes very much. Back in 90-92 there was nothing to do but if you had a 5.0 you were admired.

    Cervinis Cobra-R Hood

I have the Cobra R hood but for my '98. No hood pins. I'm very pleased with the quality. It needed very little prep work before painting and fits like I expect it to. I don't have insulation either and have had no issues. It's a great hood and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to buy a new hood.

    Horrible MPG

Change the plugs. My '98 gets real bad milage too. When I change out the plugs it gets much better, but gets worse again. I've not taken the time to figure out why, but I be a change of plugs will help you.

So I'm looking at that FR blower for my '98

When I bought my '98 GT over three years ago I had no idea that the 99 up cars had more power. I know this is dumb and it's caused by the way I buy cars. Friday I decide I want a Mustang. Saturday I see the car I like, talk myself out of it and buy it Sunday. Anyway, The PI heads or the FR...

    very high miles...5.0 vs 4.6

I had a black on black 5.0 coupe with 144K miles started every time. Taking care of that engine is the key. Now if you could only keep the rest of the car from falling apart. Others have already mentioned that '95 was the last 5.0 in a 'Stang so getting a low mile car is going to be hard and if...

Anyone heard of the Marcos Mantis (4.6l)?

I think those are English? I've not heard of that power claim but I think that the older Marcos cars actually had wood frames!

Free stuff in the Tampa FL area

Greetings, If you live in the Pinellas County or any where near by You may be intersted. I've got a pair of gray rear interior panels from a '88 coupe, one driver side arm rest (with plug covers), and two door panels. All are gray from the same '88. I wouldn't put the panels in a show car...

One less competing for new Stang.....

I'm very sorry to read what I have. For so long there was never cancer in my family and then my mother, then my grandpa were taken by it. Now I've got an aunt going through brain cancer. I can't really say I understand what you must be going through. Who can if they have not been told what you...

    Fender question

Thanks. I'll try to post a picture. I know trying to diagnos this without it is kind of asking a lot. I was mad when it arrived damaged but, pleased when my Cervini's Cobra R hood arrived in perfect shape!

    Fender question

I hope this is posted in the right area. I ordered a replacement driver-side fender for my '98 GT. Of course, the box arrived all beat up. The edge where the corner of the fender meets the windshield is bent. It's not all messed up but where the fender come to what I would call a "point" is bent...

Something is wrong w/ my car...please help diagnose

Remove the cover from behind the driver side tail light in the trunk. You will find the fuel pump reset switch at the top (I think) around there some place. See if the button can be pressed. If it can you may just have needed to reset the pump. I've never had this happen in a Mustang but it did...
