    I have a '94 and I am considering putting a 99+ rear axle under my car. Does anyone know how much wider the 99+ axle is? I wouldn't mind having the wheels out a little further but I don't want it to cause any problems. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Gabe

    I am about to piece together all the stuff I need to build up an axle. There is one for sale locally and it's setup exactly how I want to build mine up. Of course it's out of a 99+ car. If the width difference isn't too large, I could save myself some trouble and just buy this axle wholesale...

    The Fox3 & Fox4 cars use the exact same axle housing. It's the axles that are narrower on the Fox3. 79-93 axle housings can bolt under a 94-98 and vice versa. Therefore, you can use the housing but I am not sure about the spline count/diameter of the 7.5" rear end and if it's compatible...

    If you run the stock tire height and plan on trapping faster than 108 then you won't want 4.10's. You will run out of RPM. If you don't care about the drag strip or you are trapping well below 108, then get 4.10's.

    How many people on that list were pushing 6-8psi? I think everyone on that list had at least a smaller blower pulley. If anyone has broken on 8psi or less, please let me know what the problem was. It would sure suck to put a stock Vortech on my car and have the head gasket poop out on 6-8psi.

    Wait up here. That's the whole reason I factor in the $1000 (yes that's how much it costs out here in rip-you-off Seattle) it is my understanding that a good dyno tune will make a Vortech maintenance free. Is this a misconception? Is there more to a blower that required constant fiddling?
