    If you wanted to keep the stock (or lower) ride height you'd probably be looking at ripping the guts out of a modern AWD - including the engine! Perhaps do an SN65 with the donor AWD! Sounds like a big job, but if it could be pulled off it would be worth it.

    Some (all??) diesel alternators have a vacuum pump built into the back of them. Maybe you can find a diesel alternator with the same dimensions/wiring configuration as a Mustang one :shrug:
