    2005 bullet wheels on a 65

Thanks for the info. I ordered a set of zero mile '06 wheels tires today. Once I get around to putting them on I'll post up the exact specs for my application. Until then I shall be working on converting my S-10 to an injected 350. It better not be faster than my mustang.

    Baskspacing, offset, etc.

Trying to figure out if I can run the 05 wheels on my car. I am under the impression from my reading that backspacing is a function of offset. I have read that the new style wheels are 6.295" of backspacing. I have also seen that they have 45mm offset (1.77"). The calculation that I have seen...

Now I am confused How is the backspacing on the wheels 6.295? I will post this in a new me thread too but, from my readings, BS is = .5 x wheel width + offset. =(.5 x 8") + 45mm =(.5 x8") + 1.77" = 5.77" baskspacing Am I right?

    2005 bullet wheels on a 65

nice car blkfrd, that exactly the look I am going for, only in poppy red. Just to clarify, you are running 05/06 wheels? My car sits at stock height (for now) so I should have to worry less about clearance issues. What tires are you running front/rear? Thanks Trevor

The penultimate of stupid looking Fords

Good Ole days I was just doing a search on fender rolling and came acrros this thread. I just had to add that I grew up right by that lifted '68 cp w/ plow. That thing was hideous. It was sitting there for sale for years. I wonder why? I'll have to check on it next time I go "home." The second...

What dual resevior master cyl. will bolt onto my '65

I have a 1965 fastback with the big single resevior m/c. I have non-power original factory disk brakes. I did a couple of searches but didnt find any clear answer. Is there any dual resevior m/c that will bolt right up, no mods? The cheaper, the better. I just started grad school and am now very...

My proposed combo - any thoughts?

good info. 1320 stang - sounds like the heads I have should easily be able to make the power that I want. I'm not looking to go very radical on gearing (prob 3.55's) and a stay with a streetable cam - looking like the come xe274. I would think this will get me close to 280-300 rwhp. I figure...

My proposed combo - any thoughts?

Its been a couple years since I posted on here and its about time I get around to doing some of the things I had been too poor to do. I have a set of extensively ported D0OE '69 351 heads that were on a car that was running high 10's. They have 1.94/1.60 stainless valves in them. I just...
