    Gas tank o-ring

    I would try to find a ring because as you had stated it does add some pressure as well as seal that pump assembly to the top of the tank. Mine broke while I was swapping out my pump but a new one was supplied with the new pump. I wouldnt risk having a fuel leak and having to pull the tank again.

    ball joint half done So I used the giant C-clamp press and it works very well and to confirm what others have told me the 94 ball joints do press into the older A-arms which is nice for me cause Im using newer style spindle for the 5 lug conversion

    pressing out ball joint?

    Has anyone used one of those giant C-clamp ball joint presses to remove and intall a ball joint. Mine needs replacing and several people have mentioned that you have to take the control arm off and and take it to a machine shop. Let me know if the C-clamp press is worth it.

    lower ball joint needs replacing

    labor and time are the main reasons, machine shop said $20 a side to press out/in the new joints and $50 each ball joint, when 190 I can get the new arms, joints and controll arm bushings and not fool with taking it to the machine shop.

    Well I need to replace my lower ball joint and I was wondering if my 1992 controll arms will accept a 1994 ball joint since I have spindles from a 94 GT. Other options I was looking at were aftermarket or buy 94 control arms but Im not sure if they will bolt up or change the front end spacing.

    I can hear the pump prime when I turn the key on so Im not sure what I would be looking for other than the obvious like cut wires.

    Im getting codes 31, 87 Engine off. The car dies right after startup but runs fine on second attempt, idle will not hold steady at all. Ive done the usual new plugs, wires, cap, rotor with no luck. The fuel pump, regulator, and filter are new as well. Any ideas?

    It might be the pivot ball inside the bellhousing, have you greased yours lately?

    cable was well lubed and spun freely, I just replaced my tach should have replaced both of them. How many of you replaced the tach to fix the problem?
