Im not sure what it is, none of the books explain it well, one even mentions "double spark" whatever that is. Car is having some idling issues and a really bad buck and surge throughout the RPM range.

spout is in and looks like its in good shape, I can pass a current through it if that helps

since you get a current through that eliminates that!!!Thats the only code?Did you do Engine off and engine running?Dump your codes(unhook batt for 15),Drive the car in all speeds,idle some and then run codes again.I know this sounds stupid but the eec4 some times spits bogus codes this may pinpoint closer to your actual problem.And by the way ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Some other year at least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!IM from ALEX CITY Benjamin Russel H.S. class of 89
