    its leaking from the pastic peace not the bolt it looks like theres an indent for this peace but its off by a hair and it leaks out of that.

    i got a 02 gt auto on my tailhouseing of the trans there’s this yellow plastic peace that is being held in with one bolt(sorry i am getting pics) does anyone know what this does or if this bolt controls anything in the trans. i got to loosen it and move the peace down more cause its leaking...

    i toke the gateback off and put the old motorcraft but before i did i check the pullies all are good but the powerstering one has a little back and fornt play is this normal or is my power steering bad(it was just a lilttle play ) going for a ride to see if its still there

    the odd thing is that it alsmost sounds like when it happens the egine sucks in more air? could it be spark knock i am running 87 with a stock tune(i think) ... or could it be trany related?:shrug:

    i check the ac comp and it works good . its more of a snap clank that only happens when i hit the gas not at idle or anytime else also i noticed that the idleer pullie was smooth but now after the gaterback belt its like if it was sanded down

    i got it too.. mines comeing from my bellhousing i think theres a tsb for it. i bot my car to a ford dealer they said its nothing to worry about:rolleyes: good thing my flows just drone it out.

    same here thre about 10 million v6s most are stock but there are a decent couple with some mods and some with vtec power :nonono:(if u know what i mean) but almost all the v8s can be felt or heard for more then a few blocks away which makes up for it

    also when the car is idle and i rev it up there is no nosie or anything and now of the pullies vibrate or move side to side ( is there more the then one way this belt could go on)

    i never had any problems with the oild motorcraft belt also the clunk only happens when i would get on the gas and then let it go and then hit the gas again also the tensioner was ez to move over when i was taking the old one off
