    Thanks! I see he put his fusebox in the trunk. I am not sure I will be able to do that. I think I am going to have to be really creative here. Anyone else re-wire there car and run into any issues w/ the fuse box being too big?

    I will order a couple of those. I suspect I am going to just have to cut all the wires to the cluster and splice them into the new wiring harness. I am surprised no one sells a cluster/guage/warning light harness that is a single unit and can be spliced into a new wiring harness. Oh well.

    Advice I took it to Eagle Transmission. They said they would look at it for no charge. After a couple days the guy says "Yup, it is the transmission but it seems to be an internal issue" Duh. He wants to charge me 280.00 to open it up and look at it but that will go toward the repair cost...

    My assumption is that if this were the case, I would have the issue even when in neutral.. It is only happening when in reverse. sounds like something is catching w/ every revolution. very jerky. D 1 2 and 3 are fine though. I may have to take it in to a shop and have someone else drive it.

    I checked the motor mounts, and they look fine. Any other ideas. It appears to somehow be related to being in reverse. Wether I give it gas or not, it has this effect. I can idle backwards and it feels like something is catching every couple of feet.

    Saturday, I put the car up on ramps on both left wheels only just to look at the parking brake linkage. I didn't touch a thing but it was up on the ramps for about 6 hours. I took it off the ramps. Now, when I put it in reverse, it runs choppy. like rolls a foot then jerks, rolls a foot...

    I have an FMX transmission in my 65 coupe. I notice that in all of the parking brake diagrams, they show the equalizer lever mounting to the crossmember via an attached bracket. I don't seem to have any place to put the lever. Is the brake setup different w/ the FMX? How do I install it?
