I have a carbarator similar to the attached photo. My ford manuel does not specifically address this carb so I thought I'd ask the experts....
How does the black knob on the left work? I am thinking at this point it makes the car run rich / lean
What do the two screws under the edelbrock logo do?
Maybe I am looking in the wrong place, but here is the issue I am wanting to correct. My car runs great no problems with one exception. It dies when I come to a stop after driving. It idles fine when in neutral or park, but once in gear, it likes to die.
I adjusted the screw on the throttle linkage to increase the idle speed but clearly, I should not be able to do 30 mph in idle and I miss that great sound where it sounds like it might almost die cus it runs slow. I really like that. So, I am wondering if there is a combination of things I can try at the carb to regain that low running RPM sound without it actually dying when stopped and in drive.
Any ideas?
