    I installed the Brenspeed C&L CAI (very poor instructions, BTW), and tuner. It's a lot faster with the 91 octane tune, but I get hesitation when the car is still cool and I goose it.     Yup, I know about inflation, but I also know that technology has made products cheaper to produce, not to mention China. I bit of chromed steel doesn't cost them but a fraction of the sale price.

    They are artificially high prices. With competition, say in the computer or digital camera world, prices drop to about 1/3 or 1/4 of what the initial prices began. Competition has not brought down prices.

    I am reading a lot of talk about lowering. Those of you old enough will remember the 70s look. That look was jacked up rear end (you could see the chrome covers on differentials), wide rear tires, and the mags with oval holes. Side pipes were common. Guess times have changed!
