When you switch to 3:73's, Oh yes you will! Your speedo will be way off. I've heard either get the 23 tooth speedo gear or a SpeedCal.
BTW, love the color scheme on the car.
Which one is better in your opinion. I'm not sure which one will be better for me also. I want the suspension tight.
thanks.

I think your missing a "0" in your mileage cobra 8, thats in your sig?
On the coolant issue. I would get a coolant flush, change out the t-stat to a 180*, and add a bottle of water wetter.
Not knowing much obviously on the two. Can the tweecer do the same thing as the SpeedCal? Reason being, I don't want to buy the SpeedCal and find out later that the Tweecer can do the same thing.
thanks. :nice:
numbs,
Next would be workin on the suspension. When I did my lCA's, I felt a huge difference in launching the car. And when you do the suspension, replace the entire suspension at once, trust me.
Same here.
I WD-40 the hell out of them and that seemed to help. I'm having my whole rear suspension looked at in the next couple of weeks though also. I'm getting some really bad clunking noise when I go over bumps and this started when I put in new aftermarket uppers also.
Seems like every spring we get a lot of guys/gals posting about cooling issues on their Stangs, especially in the middle of summer.
What are some tips for cooling our cars better.
My .02.
New radiator-Fluidyne
New T-stat-(I'll be safe and say 180*)
Mine as well change the hoses if...
What about drilling the two small holes in the stat?
Drill two small holes on either side of the stat. I would find the smallest bit that you can get your hands on.
This helps with air bubbles in the system.
Two things.
One, driving down the highway at speeds of 65mph or more, I get a very faint clunking noise that seems to be coming from either the engine or tranny area.
The noise is sparadic. Why would the steering column be making a noise when the steering wheel is not really at all going...
How about this. You decide that you want to do twin turbo's on a mustang and I loan you my car for a prototype. :D
Here is my email address, [email protected] :nice:
Email [email protected] for gear install. Located in mesa.
See what he could do for gears plus the install. I ordered parts through him once and he even price match stuff on the internet.
Good luck
23 tooth speedo gear. or..... are you going to upsize the rear tires at all in the future. If you are, I would just wait and get the speedcal. Brothers performance has it and so does Dallas mustang...
Non, how is your car running since you had Dan at Brakemaster's look at it?
Also, having an "automatic" here in Phoenix isn't that dumb of an idea. Sometimes I wish I had an automatic during the morning/evening commute. You can also put a cooler on the automatic to help it out with this...
Might have to give Tom a call at AMP and see what deal he could spring.
I have to say, after reading the reviews I was sold on Steeda's. But........
I would be more interested in switching to the 5.0. I'm not really impressed with the Steeda shifter at all.
