    every t-5 mustang i've been in whines a little, specially a aftermarket shifter. When i did my tri-ax shifter, it eliminates one of the boots that kinda shields the sound and it's noiser now. How loud is it? It could be a more serious trans problem.

    I think the VIN might tell you. If it's a 7up car, it's kinda hard to say what to do with it. Seems to me foxes fetch more money when stock, especially a special model. It's kinda up to u i guess........ :shrug:

    I cant really tell, but if it were me i would just use all new bearings. Just get an install kit, their only like $120. Cheap insurance. :nice:

    well it would't even tighten to the mark without the washer. It needed to go about half way back around, and if i loosened it up to match it was too loose. But with the washer on it matched right up then i tightened it about 1/4 inch past the mark as a friend told me to do. I hope it dosent...

    3:55 Gears

    I have 3:55's on my car and they work good. Just make sure you have a reputable shop put them in. I had to have mine done twice cause the shop screwed them up the first time. And they are good now, but all three seals leak. :bang:

    yeah i put dumps on my stang and i hated them, and it sounded like crap. (stock engine save for fms headers and pullies). I bought tails within a week.

    If you need to pass emissions where you live I would opt for regular iron GT40's not the P's cause they don't have provisions for the thermactor smog tubes. If you don't have to pass emissions i agree with look it's aaron. :SNSign:

    air idling sensor?

    Are you talking about the idle air control? It should still run without it plugged in i think the computer will default to a base rpm? the iac may be your problem. Or when you or whoever installed the 65mm tbi, the tps sensor may not have been adjusted correctly. I'm not quite sure though so...
