    idle ?

    I searched the threads,but just too many to go through.Is the idle suppose to go up when you push in the clutch? Mine goes up like 100-200 RPM.If not what would cause this? Other than that the idle stays steady at 800-900 RPM.I'll check back later,have to get ready for work.

    As long as the RR and heads are both pedistal mount or stud they will work.I'm running pretty much the same setup except for TF stage 1 cam and 65mmTB.If had to do it over I would have got stud mount RR.

    ped rocker ?

    I know how adjust ped mount rockers,but I have a ?.Mine are still a little noisey.Is it better to set them to 1 turn or 1/2 turn?With no shim Ihit torque spec at 1 turn. With 30 thousands shim I hit torque spec at 1/2 turn.I was thinking of removing shims to see if it quiets them down.

    I tried using the search but just too many to read.I bought the FR adjustable clutch cable kit,but of course FR is too cheap to include directions.I can change the quadrant,but why are there two sets of hooks? Which ones do I use?

    Machine shop costs/ extreme broken bolt situation ->

    I might be wrong but don't most of the waterpump bolts run thru the timing chain cover,then into the block?If the bolt is broke flush with the timeing chain cover couldn't you take off the cover to expose the bolt.

    I thought gt 40 heads were pedistal mount unless you had them drilled or used the conversion kit.

    Go to www.cranecams.com,they have instructions there.If your looking for a set used a friend at work is upgrading to TF heads with stud rockers.He'd probably give you a good deal.Let me know.

    This morning I started my cam swap.I'm using a TF stage 1.Should I advance it 4 deg to bring the powerband down? I'm using performer heads,cobra intake,stock bottom end.Also do they make offset keys for the crank? Tried to buy some from Summit and the kid said they only came in 4 degrees.Is that...

    How many guys running "NO" thermostat???

    I've had cars run hotter without a thermosat.The coolant wasn't in the radiator long enough to cool it down.Although it took longer to heat up,once it got to operating it stayed there only cooled down if you got on the freeway.Kept my fingers crossed if I caught more than a couple lights in a row.
