    OK, not to start a thread that someone else probly has at one time... but... I have 1-chamber flows and an off road H-pipe, and I love the way the car sounds when it's pulling, but hate it at idle, it's so smooth and quiet, that until stepping on it, nobody would notice that it isn't stock...

    ok, gotta ask... ok I gotta ask... what happens if you make the hole TOO small, smaller than the new suggested size? my biggest complaint, is that even though my car is deafening at WOT, it's very mellow at idle, I want a more powerful idle, like an older car with flows would have. any ideas?

    Hi, I LOVE my 10 series.... but in my opinion, they werent all that loud while it still had all the cats... but to some people they would be considered loud eve with cats... the off road h-pipe is the very best thing I have ever done, I hate the factory cats, they are SO restrictive...

    I know that my car isn't as fast as the cobra, but i just didnt "seem" to have that much of a different "feel" - odd...but then again, not knowing the cobra and it's cgears and all, I probably didnt drive it nearly as well as I could have.

    Well, I think we are all looking for more power, that seems to be the only thing that never changes... but my 2 cents: I wouldnt do it with a daily driver. too hard a hit, WOT and just one missed shift, would probly be bad. It's not worth it... a blower seems to be a better way to go, just not...

    Is getting a midpipe with cats worth it?

    my personal opinion, changing out the midpipe is the best thing you can do for sound, and definitely a performance gain. I have the BBK O/R H, and LOVE it, perfect fit. I was debating if it was worth getting a aftermarket H-pipe, and it definitely is!
