My steering is as loose as a $5 hooker

There's really no way to tell without inspecting everything. It could be anything. In my case basically everything in my front end was shot including the rack itself, the rag joint, and the front control arm bushings. I'd have a competent front end shop check the alignment before doing any...

    Speaker Measurements Inside

I had to use a 1/4" MDF spacer to make my front door speakers fit, and no, they won't clear the stock grilles. I'd love to see what other people have used as far as aftermarket speaker grilles. I've been trying to find a set that will work and will look decent. FYI I also had to trim a little...

    How to paint outside trim?

Agreed, the Dupli-Color Trim Paint is pretty good and is readily available. I painted my cowl grille and wiper arms with it 3 years ago and it's holding up well. Didn't use anything except a green scotch brite pad to scuff them up and rubbing alcohol to clean them. Does anyone have specific...

    Remote start/alarm opinions?

Cool, I think I've seen that pigtail before. I'll think I'll have to do some searching in Tech to get an idea of how that would be wired up.

    Remote start/alarm opinions?

Ah... that sounds like an easy solution! Where will I find the correct wires to tap into? Has anyone does this yet? Who here has installed their own alarm/remote start? I haven't done one before but with enough patience and the proper instructions I figure it should be doable.

    Remote start/alarm opinions?

Does anyone here with a manual trans have a remote start on their car? Or know if its possible to wire up a safety switch on the shifter and/or ebrake, so that the car will start only start in neutral with the parking brake on? I'd really like to get a remote starter on my car for those cold...

Good question, mine are burnt out too.

    who makes good control arms?

I have heard good things about the D&D Motorsports LCA's if you want a basic, inexpensive arm, or the Pro3i's which mimic the design of the MM arms. Of course MM and Steeda are the best but they are pricey.

    3G alternator upgrade

What's the benefit of the one-wire alt? I just did the regular 3G conversion where you run a new power cable but plug in the other existing connectors. Definately a good upgrade.

Where to go for a heater core replacement (Portland)?

Yeah that's the part I don't want to mess with... lol... I hate taking apart interiors. It was enough of a pain to put my CD player in the car so I don't really think removing the whole dash is gonna be a fun experience. I will definately check them out though, thanks for the suggestion.

Where to go for a heater core replacement (Portland)?

So the weather seems to be cooling down fast here in the NW. I'm thinking it would be nice to get my non-functioning heater core replaced before it gets really cold. :D But I hear this is a pretty involved repair and I don't think I want to mess with it myself. Where is a good place to take it...

17x9 and 17x10 Bulitt wheels. Pic needed!

Well, I like it. I'll probably get the same wheels for my car, but most likely 18X9" all around. I'd call it pimped out in a good way. :D

built my own valve covers come check them out!

Those look really clean. Nice TIG welding skills! I have been wanting a set of fabricated aluminum valve covers like those for a while... would you consider making more and selling them and if so how much would you want for a set?

17x9 and 17x10 Bulitt wheels. Pic needed!

So I'm viewing 25thmustang's pics and from across the room I hear my girlfriend: "WTF? Why is that car so pimped out? How big are those wheels?" now that's classic :rlaugh:

    H Pipe, X Pipe, What's The Difference?

My O/R X is quieter at idle and in the lower RPM's than my O/R H was. It also drones much less than the H pipe did. I didn't notice any loss of low end going to the X pipe, but the car does seem to pull a little bit harder on the top end. After trying both I prefer the X pipe. It's quieter...

    Seats

Are there any particular years of SN95 Mustangs that had especially nice seats? I've sat in a '94 GT and it had nice leather seats with good side and seat bolsters. I'm under the impression that this style of seat was found in all 94-98 GT's, is that correct, and are the '00-'04 GT seats any...

Those with Bilsteins/Aftermarket springs...LOTS of questions for anybody!

I'd second Hissin's advice to strongly consider replacing the FLCA bushings... After around 100k mine were so mushy I could put a screwdriver through the metal sleeve in the bushings and move them around with very little pressure. There was no way they were up to holding my suspension in proper...

Those with Bilsteins/Aftermarket springs...LOTS of questions for anybody!

I'm running Bilstein HD's on stock springs, with 3/4" of a coil trimmed from the front springs, and my original rubber isolators. Not the best spring setup, but for now it fits my budget and works pretty well. The ride is compliant and comfortable and handling is pretty decent. I do have MM C/C...

    What's this Mustang worth?

That has to be one of the cleanest all-original SN95's I've ever seen... nice find! The wheels and the detailing really brought out it's potential.
