    When I bought my car from the prev owner it had a similar situation, I replaced it with a aluminum d/s and problem went away, but that was when they were about $100 or so cheaper than now. If you want to save money, I would ahve the d/s rebalanced or chkd out.

    It sounds like the evap canister, but I could be wrong, it's used for emmissions. I still have mine so I dont know what would happen if you got rid of it, I assume that if you don't have a smog pump or off road pipe, you might not need it.

    Like others have said, the gears will be the biggest difference, and the pulleys are going to help.

    Help me fix my car.

    I would try to fix that broken bolt, it may be causing a leak like others have said. May also want to chk maf voltage to make sure its working correctly, I think its around .7-.9v @ idle If its low, it may not show up w/a code, thats how mine acted. Other than that, I would chk for leaks, and codes.

    I'm probably wrong on this, but I have a friend with the autometer air fuel guage, it its all over the place, he was told that the guage should do this because the air/fuel isn't constant. So does this mean he was told the wrong info and his guage isn't working properly?

    If you don't want to get nitrous, you could get an intake, should give you a good sotp gain. I think any long runner intake would be good, cobra, explorer, ect..
