    I know, Brakes again

    As the 66 has a single chamber master cylinder (dangerous), I want to put a dual chamber on it with power assist, I am hoping it will be a good stop gap until I go to discs...when I do I will already have the master cylinder :banana:

    My 1966 w/289 is stock FOR NOW (lotts of goodies on the way :cheers: ) it has drum brakes all around. I am thinking about just getting a dual master cylinder with power booster. Where do I get it? Is it easy? :hail2:

    With all the potential to be a hot car... Like I said it all depends on what you want. I searched e-bay quite often, this gave me a good idea on what to pay when I baught my 66 in april :nice:

    Have to ask if you want a stock show car or a hot street car, either way I would offer 10k and go from there, remember she only paid a few K for it

    There are so many scratches that have rust in them as well as a fel rust spots, I need to do the whole car. Being in oregon I need to prime anything I strip the day I strip it. So theoreticly by the time the car is ready for paint the whole thing will be primer :shrug:

    I am thinking of having the 66 soda blasted and having a good prime done so it is smooth and ready for paint...... can I leave it primer till I can afford good paint.. or should I take it to maaco????

    I am new and I got a 66' I stumbled across here in town. It runs strong has some minor problems but all seem to be easy to deal with. My problem is now that I have replaced the front suspension, I don't know what I want to do next. I would sugest getting a nice car with small problems...
