    T-5 install Question

Yep, I use the hose up into the engine compartment with a funnel method too... usually have a guy under the car [make sure car is level on stands] and once trans fluid comes running out the top hole, yank the hose, and screw in the plug... I usually coat the threads of the upper and lower...

    Thumper.... need your help !

What are you using to clean the mating surface of the block and the cyl heads before you install? Can not be an oil based cleaner like carb cleaner, or degreaser [i'm sure you already know this]. I used brake parts cleaner on my Buick T Type, and i'll tell you what, I swear by it now...

    2004 SRT-4 vs. 93 5.0 Mustang

Hmm... I was lucky enough to be handed the keys and a dealer plate to one a few weekends ago by a salesman who happened to be my old hockey coach. It was a red 2004. Didnt like the seats... unless youre a thin guy its tight fit in the butt area... Anyways, this dealer is on a road...

Ok I am ready to order my stuff tomrorrow.. [suspension stuff, torque box braces, few other knick nacks, and some sort of mid pipe]. But I can't decide on a mid pipe for the life of me. As far as X pipes. The Bassani, and BBK that have the X shaped Chamber way at the back.. First off...

    Vortech air meters?

I have a C&L 73mm meter that was bought by a buddy for his car back in 1996. On the underside of the meter is a Vortech "V" logo on it. Vortech meter and C&L meter = same thing IMO.

HELP:Almost got beat by a Turbo Talon

I would have said to him, "yeah i'll race and if I win I get to lean all over your car, on every body panel, for your VERY inconsiderate act of leaning on my car. If you win you escape the small dents i'm going to leave..". As far as the: "I didnt see the green.". I would have said...

    Stock MAM size and flow#s

I got to thinking. A 65mm T Body is said to flow 10% more than the stock 60mm one in the Summit catalogue.. So....... If a stock 55mm flows 606 CFM, and I have increased my meters size by 5mm, would it still flow 10% more than it did before like the T bodies??? Which mathematically...

If you have all the bolts out and trans out etc,... its likely stuck on the dowels [dowels rusted a little and alum on the housing corroded.. ]. Drivetrain HP Loss

To me a Dyno is useful for tuning. Start the 1st pull as you had the car when you got there... by the end of it all you will have figured out where your combo likes its timing, fuel pressure etc... and to me that is ALL I will ever use a dyno for or want to dyno for. I could care less how big...

    Spark Plugs

OK lemme clear this up on my part... I had an 89 GT 5sp w/ 3.08s, back in 1996. Ran Bosch Platinums at the stock gap. Car loved them. Flat out screamed for such a stock GT Had a K&N panel, 18* timing, U/D pulley kit, and straight pipes in place of the stock muffs. Other than that bone...

    Stock MAM size and flow#s

Only info I can find to back the size [55mm] up is on ProMs site: http://www.pro-flow.com/tech%20info/sizing.htm And it says the maximum recommended HP for a 55mm meter is 320.... Funny on that same page the stock injectors crap out at just a bit more HP than that. This has to be...

    Stock MAM size and flow#s

Are the stock 88-93 MAMs not 55mm? Does anyone know what the CFM is that they flow stock? Or is it really 606 CFM and the 58mm diameter listed is a misprint? How about a bored out to 60mm stock MAF? How many CFM would that flow? Cause See.... I checked the 94/95 FAQ with the all the...
