OK, I have yet another question. In the middle of my clutch install. The tranny is out and all of the bell housing bolts are out. It is stuck on the two dowels or something. Thats the only thing left that could be possibly holding it in. Am I missing something somewhere or what? Laying on the ground for this type of work doesnt give you a lot of room to swing a hammer;) I have pulled and hit as much as I can and its not comming. Any tips or ideas?:mad:

If you have all the bolts out and trans out etc,... its likely stuck on the dowels [dowels rusted a little and alum on the housing corroded.. ]. What I do is take a small straight screw driver, and with a hammer lightly tap the end of the screwdrver in between the bell housing and the engine block. Dont go nuts pounding it all the way in. Once you have gotten it to move a little go over to the other side and do the same, do this in a few spots and it should reach a point where you can muscle it off. Good place to start with the screwdriver/hammer would be close to the dowels as possible.
