    paint job

Wow, no. If you did a basecoat/clearcoat paint job. Then it is seperate. If you did a single stage paint, then there is a type of chemical in the paint that makes it have a clear coat like finish. They are already together. But it's all the same, Fish Eyes normally come from a contaminate, even...

    paint job

BTW, you dont put hardener in the basecoat!!!!! You use Reducer. Hardener goes in clearcoat! You may have just worded it wrong. But if you did that then there is your biggest Boo Boo

    paint job

Well technically, not sure your exact way of doing it was... But the best is sand it down to the old basecoat, use a tack cloth and wipe the entire area down your about to spray. Spray the primer. Mix as prescribed. Let that dry. Spray your basecoat AFTER sanding the primer with like 400 grit...

    paint job

as an experienced painter, that sounds definately like orange peel. As long as there is enough clear on the car you can try to wet sand with 1500 grit and buff it out. But if your not experienced in it, I wouldn't try it, otherwise you'll be getting a new paint job. If you sand too much, you'll...

    Noise From My Wheels/Rear??

My 89 Hatchback has a small, almost popping slash odd clunking noise coming from rear of car. To anyone with experience with Weld wheels, its similar to the sound a Weld Wheel makes when your loosening the lug nuts, like the pressure being released... Thats the only way I can describe the sound...

    Finally got some heads.. but...??

Thats the great thing about 5 Ohs.. everyone has thier own setup.. tons of options, but as long as it boils down to my car being faster, having more balls then stock, and turning out quicker times in the 1/4 mile with my given setup, thats all that matters to me. With the RPM 2, it gives me the...

Which, of these 3 things, could be causing my car to leak water like crazy?

it looks like the weatherstripping could definately use some T.L.C. I don't have as much experience with a convertible like some people, but have you thought of taking a garden hose and spraying different areas to see where the leak is exactly coming from? If you're just going to say screw it...

Need experienced help with intake setup

What do you think of my combination of parts plus a set of GT40 heads and an E cam? I mean the bigger throttle body is a definate, and the bigger mass air is a no brainer combining those two parts. If im dumpin more air into it with all that, plus a better intake, why not dump more fuel into it...
