    So if I have a 94/95 Cobra MAF, can I just swap out the sensors with my stock one calibrated for 19#? Or am I kind forced to bump up to the 24#s it's calibrated for? Thanks in advance!

    Ok, so I'm in the process of building up some GT40Ps to install on the car and right now I'm dealing with shimming the valve springs to get them at the recommended installed height. All the intake valves are pretty damn close (some need maybe .015"), but all the exhaust valves springs sit right...

    altinator problem?

    It's likely... mine would drop down and the lights would dim. Apparently the stock unit doesn't put out very much, lol. Check into a 3g Alternator swap... loads of info on here. Or you can go through PowerMaster and get a one-wire style self-exciting one. I got their 150amp and it rocks.

    www.stangpro.com has an article on porting the GT40Ps at home... I haven't actually read over it, but you might want to take a look.

    Replaciing water pump - Anything I need to know?

    Yeah, do the Tstat while your in the area. It's in the 90* bend housing at the front of the intake mani... just follow the top radiator hose back. My only tip is to be easy on the bolts! I broke a few off back when I did it and it turned it into a real pain.

    Here are a couple shots of my lower intake I pulled off a while ago. Looking it over, kinda seems like it's been ported, but I don't have a stock one to compare it to! The second one shows where it seems to have been repaired with some putty or something... must be ported? Here's a shot...

    Red indicator light

    Possibly just an aftermarket alarm light. AFIK stangs never came with a little red light in the shifter bezel :nice: Pull it up and see if it's wired into something.

    GT40P help

    I'd just use their "build-a-wire" set :) Measure out the perfect length for everything and then make 'em with the 90deg. boots. Worked for me!
