    OK I THOUGHT ABOUT VENTING THE PCV IN TO THE VALVE COVER VENTELATION AND JUST CAP OFF THE THROTTLE BODY AND INTAKE VACUUM PORTS...BUT WOULD THAT DEFEAT THE PURPOSE??? OR MAYBE, WORK?

    but where to vent the pcv??? just attached to the filter and vent to atmosphere??? also...with the broken bolt being right next to another properly torqued bolt....will this still cause a problem....this will only be temporary.....about 500 miles...

    did you install your 255 walbro at the same time as the coil??? if so check to see that the pump is getting voltage and has a good groud for the fuel prob....then check for a short to ground on the primary side of the coil......if you have power to the coil but no spark...and you recently fried...

    thanks...this is helpfull but a little more info would really help....a diagram of the original directions would be a godsend...but i think i can figure it out....but do i need to reuse any of the stock intake fittings??? ie. the pvc fitting??and others...... :shrug:

    So I am in knee deep in my typhoon install and when putting the upper on...it looks nothing like the stock upper as to where the vacume and coolant lines go...i bought the intake used so i have no instructions...can someone help??? ohhh, :nice: and i "searched" so everyone can be happy

    well....the o2 sensors are most deffinatly needed to run closed loop...you need time, temperature, and 02 sensor = closed loop...therefor...check your 02 connections and clenliness...if you recently removed the sensors thay may be contaminated and need to be burned with propane to clean...

    i agree....what....with your coolant line literally spraying and drenching the coil with coolant which is like at least a foot and a half away from the thermostat housing...and your heater hoses are on the other side of the intake so that is rulled out.....im thinkin you had a short to ground or...

    oh and a good valve job is a good idea....but there will be NO gains over what it was before....hey its just reality guy.......sorry :shrug: a "competition" valve job - im assuming a 3 angle or 5 angle or whatever...only yields a better mating surface for the valves when they close to the...

    Im not very intelligent and definatly not smart...but why not just get a nitrate coated titanium style drill bit....disassemble the heads...and drill / port away....it works....i did my intake this way......but keep in mind that this may cost you $7 for the bit and i am not a smart...

    Trick Flow ADMITS they didn't put a baffle in my INTAKE!!! OIL GUSHING OUT PVC!!!

    I just tossed my typhoon lower on and noticed that it does have the baffle....but does not really hold the pvc screen up enough...it seems to fall in too deep....so i think im gonna just use some silicone gasket sealer to hold the screan to the top plasticpiece...this should hold the screan in...

    Has anyone ran their supercharger oil return straight to the oil drain in the pan?

    Can you just run the oil return hose to the oil drain plug in the oil pan?? Not looking forward to tapping the oil pan....if not what size tap is needed to tap the pan for the vortech s/c trim kit??? thanks

    timing chain/gear drives

    Well I can tell you that I have a noisy gear drive in my 92 and it makes the exact noise that you are describing at idle...I think it is from having too much clearance between the idler gears and timing chain cover...because you must trim some metal off of the back of the cover for the gear...

    are you saying that you are running it like this currently....are you just using sealant to keep it in place??
