    Its a freshly rebuilt tranny. I had the same problem with my old tranny. Its a different tranny not my old one that was rebuilt. Im gona try turning the ds 180 like you said.

    I was just going to post the same question. My cars a/c gets warm when I stop at a traffic light. I noticed the very tips of the stock fan are worn. Is this not pulling air across the condensor and thats why its getting warm? What fan is a direct fit and pulls the most air?

    My car has a MAC shifter in it and I havent tried anything else. Has anyone had the MAC and then changed. I personally dont like it because it doesnt go find third gear easy.

    Oil burning question

    My car used 3 qts of oil 2 weeks ago. It was over a 7 day span. Yesterday I drove 140 miles each way (approx 300 total) and didnt have to add any oil at all. Why would this happen?

    30mpg in the stang, possible?

    I had to go on a road trip last night so I filled the tank, reset the trip odometer and drove. I got on the interstate and drove 114 miles got off and decided to fill the car again. It took 3.8 gallons to re-fill. 3.8 into 114 is 30. I hit the 30 mpg mark with 190,000 miles.

    Cleaning head threads

    Im doing a Thumper head install soon. Is It ok to use the stock head bolts? What size tap will I need to clean the old threads so I can get the correct torque readings?

    I have tokico shocks/struts and eibach springs and love them. It lowered the car about 1 and 1/2 inches. Great for everyday driving. I can take exit ramps fast with no problem.

    How do i adjust the timing?

    Ill get a new balancer. Which one is best? I did have the correct 1 cylinder.

    I did the at the other day but there was no way of telling where the timing was. It was about 1/2 inch above the pointer. Afetr I put the plug back in it was 1/2 inch below the pointer. Would a numbered tape work on the balancer? Who sells it?
