I think I got my ride height the way I want but after the shelby drop Im experiencing very negative camber. I have a 302 and did the shelby drop with a template, replaced the springs with 1" lower springs and new kyb shocks. I am currently reading around -1 degrees of negative camber on the...

    Restromod Steering

I have been thinking of a new project; a 1970 notch back. The one I am looking at is a rolling chassis. Most of the steering is missing. What would be involved in putting in the whole steering system from the rack & pinion to steering wheel from a 2005 or newer Mustang? Is it even possible?

  6. Camber Keeps Readjusting Itself...

Hey fellow stangers! I've been noticing that on my 1970 mustang coupe (stock 302), the camber will every now and then become really positive. And noticing this I usually turn the steering wheel around (if parked) or gently hit a bump (if moving) to kinda reset it back to it original...

Expired 1969 1970 Mustang Fold Down Rear Seat $1,000

I recently purchased a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 and the prior owner (of 30 years!) still had the optional fold down rear seat. I am not an expert in these, but have read a bit about them and looked online and know that originals are worth quite a bit. I have latches and several pieces but have not...

1970 Mach 1 Starting Without Ignition On

Hi guys, So I've been doing a little work on my Mach 1 lately and had to replace the starter solenoid. All the wires and leads have been put in the exact same spot however... Now when I connect the battery, the car tries to start. Scared the crap out of me. Anyway, it's as if there is constant...

  10. 1970 Mustang Coupe Headers Question And Help

Hello all, I have a 1970 ford mustang base with a stock 302. I'm thinking about getting some hooker headers (part # 6901HKR) or some shorty hedman headers (part #88400). I'm not sure if I should get the shorty headers or the long tube headers. Both say they are for the 1970 mustang 302 and are...
