Forget about distrubtor's, as the 3.8 is an D.I.S. engine. But yes, the firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6. Number one cylinder is the passenger front, and the coil pack is, from left top to left bottom, 1-2-3-4-6-5, in clockwise order.
I was told that the coil pack towers are as follows: starting at the top toward the front of the engine. 1, 2, 3. Bottom row right to left 4, 6, 5. Tower banks are 1-5, 2-6, 3-4.
