01 cobra front bumber

I have a 2000 Gt. I want to put an 01 cobra front bumper cover on, and I'm being told that I will have to put on the cobra hood as well. Is this true?

Bumper Cover;

The mounting points for each cover are the same, although it might look better with a cowel or 04 cobra hood, the stocker is fine.

Only true for 2003+ Cobra bumpers. Even then, there's a simple fix.

400# springs are great on the track, a little stiff on the street.

I have the 01 bumper. I eventually went with the 01 hood as well....it looks way better with it. Check my sig for pictures.
