Hi Everyone, I just found this site last week and am amazed by all the great info being passed along, I was hoping some of you fellow car owners can help me out, My car runs very smooth and strong , its a blast to drive, but I notice when changing the oil I notice some very fine shaving in the oil in the pan I drain the oil into, I was using Ford syn/ Blend 5-20, but in the last change I switched to Mobile 1, the car only has 4100 miles on it. I take it off the road in winters and only really drive it on weekends, but have taken to the track and auto x a few times. and not afraid to run it through the gears on occasion. Besides the problem with the cold 1/2 shift every body else has it also makes a ticking noise at start up and goes away almost immediately, other than that the car runs fine, am I being neurotic with the shaving and the start up or is this somewhat normal, the car is still under warranty, any input would be appreciated Thanks!
