01 cobra question

a friend of mine has a 01 cobra convert when he starts it the o/d light comes on and it runs like crap he then shuts it off and restarts it and its fine this has happened a few times lately. no codes come up no check engine nothing any ideas?

You can always go and pick up one of those handy little microtuners...they make great diagnostic tools.....

ummmm maybe traction control either way once he shuts it off and restarts it it goes fine someone said maybe a o2 sensor or mass air sensor?

And O/D light means that overdrive is not enabled on an AUTO car. No 01 Cobras are auto. He/You may be referring to the traction control light which looks like a spinning donut. When that light is illuminated the computer reduces timing, cuts fuel, and applies the rear brakes to help keep traction.
