I want to replace the tensioner and belt. This will be the 3rd tensioner since I bought the Stang new.(2002).. Is there a difference in quality or should I just go with an OEM replacement. Is there a HeavyDuty after market Belt Tensioner available?
Done. The local Ford dealer's cost was $90.00+. I bought a Gates tensioner at NAPA for $40.39. Works well. I had to trim the top flange to accommodate the Procharger bracket. Also installed a new belt. Also a Napa label made by Gates.
