I wonder hard it is to find a good set of Cobra or Mach seats and how expensive are they?
I like the look of those side bolsters

Im guessing for cobra off ebay prob around $800 for the set,but the bullits and Mach seats are gonna be as much if not more since ford does not make a replacement for them,or at least thats whats it like awhile back, and they usually go fast off ebay or craigs. As for the leather in the GT's i agree they did seem kinda cheap on the leather...seemed like it was a hard leather, but the leather in the mach kinda reminds me of my jacket made of Italian leather...of which feels like a soft leather...I love the seats in the Mach,If i did ever get another GT,the seats would be the first to go for at least some cobras.

The seats aren't completely leather...they are leather "trimmed".

The entire rear seat is vinyl, and ont he front seats really only the sides are leather...and a very cheap leather at that. The seatback and perforated surface are vinyl. The wheel is wrapped in the same leather.

If you added it up, you prob couldn't make 1 full seat with the amount of leather in the car.

I cuss my seatbelt everytime I get in the car. I do wish the headrests were a little taller just for looks. They are really not meant to rest your head on. They are supposed to protect your neck in the event of a crash.

I didn't care for my stockers either and got tired of sliding around in them. The Corbeau replacements are way better!

when it's humid outside my seatbelts don't retract as well as they should. And my rear passenger side seatbelt only retacts about half way. I don't like the stock seats and I have them on my "to do" list. Someday the 03 Cobra seats will be mine. Oh yes they will be mine.

The seatbelt somehow gets twisted, and won't retract. Then when you get in and try to pull it across you to buckle it, it jams in the guide that is attached to the B pillar. I can tinker with it, and get it working smoothly, but it doesn't last long. Very frustrating.

There was a recall issued for the belts. I had mine replaced back in 03 and never had that problem again after 30,000 miles.

I do find it an insult that the 94-98 seats were downgraded to the crap we got in 99-04. The headrests where a joke until the IUP came out in 03. No whiplash protection at all.
